Trim your e-commerce before hot sales periods

Do you want make sure that your e-commerce can handle increased traffic even during the year's most intense sales periods. Have you perhaps added new features, scripts or changed the design? Then we recommend Askås Profiling & Analysis package.

What does Askås do?


Askås profiles the platform's source code for calls to the store for selected views (see below). The results are analyzed to find optimization possibilities and develop measures to speed up the calls.

In connection with the profiling, response times for the selected views are also measured. These response times are used to compare improvements of a possible optimization.

NOTE. Askås only profiles calls to the store, so this does not include whether large images are loaded or other effects of design.

Optimization

Simpler measures and optimizations are included. If there is a need for major optimizations, proposed measures can be developed and offered separately.

    Askås works continuously to optimize general server performance and the platform's basic functionality - but e-commerce consists of a number of additional components. Local settings, front-end design, which modules and components you use, external partners and features.

    For this reason, we have developed a standardized package with basic and concise Profiling & Analysis.

    Three things to think about

    WHEN? In good time before an expected traffic increase. If it gets too close to, for example Black Week, it can be difficult to have time to implement the necessary measures

    WHY? To identify bottlenecks and problems and fix simpler deficiencies. The profiling will also show any extensive deficiencies that require more thorough measures.

    HOW OFTEN? If features, new design or more external systems have been added to the e-commerce chain, the overall performance can of course be affected. Then it may be worth doing a new profiling to get an updated image.
